To our little miss...
Eight months old, wowee! I can sum you up in one word right now - BUSY! You are constantly on the go, touching things, pulling yourself up on things, trying to climb onto things, crawling, jabbering, squirming, playing, and more. You are just so busy! You still love to put everything in your mouth, especially shoes preferring ones with a decorative toe - Tory Burch's are your favorite! :) This past month you helped to celebrate mommy's birthday, attended your first baby shower, had two weekend with your Gigi, and spent loads of time with your daddy. I had my first business trip for 3 nights and then an event the night I got back - oh how I missed bedtime! Your daddy and you of course were happy as clams together.
You prefer to be upright at all times, especially after your bath. This pic gave me a glimpse into a year from now when you are running around with your towel after your bath like your friend, Ellie!
You love to eat - puffs being a new favorite even though most don't make it into your mouth more the fun of trying to grab them. We need to start more foods not purees but the jars have just been easier!
I can get you to sit like this for about one second - as you see from your hand you were already on the move.
You are so excitable and I absolutely love it. Each day is you discovering something all over again to make you this happy. You also huff and puff when you get excited - we have no idea how you learned that but it is funny. Video to come!
Bath time is still one of your favorite things - this was one of your last baths in this tub you are now in a bath seat.
Sleep - I hate even writing about your sleep because I feel like it jinxes it! We had an amazing couple weeks of you sleeping through the night, 6:30pm-6:30am. I love getting more time together in the morning so early a.m. wake ups work for me - except when they are in the 5:15 range which has been only 2 times. The past few days you were getting up a couple times a night and fussing more than usual - I was not ready to do cry it out again so I fed you a couple nights at 2:30a.m. Last night, you slept through the night again! I know you have a lot of teeth a coming and growth spurts, so we will continue to go with the flow.
I love you oodles and boodles my little Button Bear, Scarlydo, Little Miss, Scarletto, Baby Girl!
